Working with Shiosha McDonald has been such a transformative improvement in both my professional and personal life. I first met Shiosha when I began serving Global Logic as a Lead Learning & Development Specialist, and she was my supervisor in her Executive Learning & Development Specialist role. From the beginning, I was inspired and impressed by her authentic, kind and knowledgeable professionalism. We easily established an efficient collaboration, and she consistently provided amazing guidance and support as I navigated the various needs of creating training and workflow materials for an entire project team working on LLMs. With her encouragement, I organically grew in my confidence and further expanded my skills in a number of ways, including being able to develop and lead my own training team successfully. Eventually, I grew to join Shiosha’s rank as an Executive Learning & Development Specialist myself, and it was truly only because of her influence and example that I was able to evolve in this capacity. While working together as peers, I continued to be in awe of Shiosha’s ability to bring elite intellect as well as a grounded positivity to any obstacle our team has encountered, and I have no doubt that she’ll continue to thrive in everything that she wants to pursue!

Working with Yoshi has been one of the most refreshing professional experiences I’ve had since I joined the corporate workforce. As an academic I strive for and admire attention to detail and organization, and Yoshi brings that and more to any role and/or project she takes on. She strives for excellence and virtually always achieves it. Working as a Technical Writer with our Data Management Team, Yoshi not only produced superb copy and communications but also took on considerable levels of responsibility and expertise, often working in the capacity of an experienced Business Analyst; documentation is a forte, but she is also adept at gathering and documenting technical and non-technical requirements, managing client and stakeholder relationships, and delivering a well-rounded business experience that is as enjoyable as it is effective. Yoshi is an amazing writer, and she always keeps a positive and calm attitude, even when things get tough. I had a great time working with her on several web projects at CVS Health, and I learned a lot from her. One of Yoshi’s strengths is her ability to come up with different writing styles. This really helped us create user-friendly websites that met stakeholder expectations. Yoshi’s positive energy is infectious and makes working with her a lot of fun. Shiosha has a brilliant mind that makes working on a team with her a productive AND enjoyable experience. I had the pleasure of teaching alongside her at Betsy Ross Magnet Arts School in CT. I counted myself lucky to be able to co-plan with this rock-star! Shiosha is a fantastic partner and a dynamic writer. We brought her on to help with a business storytelling project that required her to interview multiple people worldwide, extract key facts and interesting tidbits from them, and then pull all that information together into 20+ case study-like narratives that we then presented to our client. Shiosha accepted this mission, made friends with a variety of people across the globe, diplomatically circumvented obstacles, learned various aspects of our business, and somehow turned the flood of data and facts into coherent, compelling stories that our client loved.
